    Lobe pump filling machines are best suited for filling viscous products, but they can be used to fill thin products as well. These fillers can handle a wide range of container sizes, fill volumes, and product types; but they are most ideal for filling pastes, creams, lotions, and gels, in large volumes and at greater speeds than otherwise achieved with a piston filler. Suitable for viscous food standard liquids filling can meet cip system requirements for food packing, it is ideal for ketchup, jam sauce ect.

    Rotary Lobe Pump Working Principle

    Rotary lobe pumps, which are self-priming positive displacement pumps, are not sensitive to dry running. The synchronized rotation of the rotor pair and the increasing suction chamber create a vacuum on the priming side of the pump. This vacuum draws the liquid into the pump chamber and the pumped medium is conveyed past the pump wall into the pressure area by the rotors. The synchronized rotation of the rotor pair and the decreasing pressure chamber create an overpressure on the discharge side of the pump. The flow direction can easily be reversed by changing the direction of rotation.

    The fully automatic rotary lobe pump filling machine handles a wide range of container sizes, filling volumes and product types with ease. Although originally designed for filling creams, gels and lotions, the filler can handle both thin and pasty products. The machine can easily fill cosmetic creams, heavy sauces, thick shampoos and conditioners, honey, hair gels, cream cleaners and car waxes.

     

    Like gear pumps, lobe pumps are a type of positive displacement pump that uses a rotary action to move product. Unlike gear pumps, a lobe pump will normally consist of about three lobes (versus the many teeth on the gear pump). Product is pushed through the lobes in a manner similar to passing through the teeth of a gear pump. However, the extra space can be a benefit for products with small to medium particulates that may cause problems when passing through gears.

    The filling valve is made of 304 stainless steel, and the valve length, diameter, and suction function can be customized according to the bottle mouth diameter, bottle height, and degree of liquid foaming. The lifting of the filling valve is controlled by a servo motor.

    Storage Tank

    The storage tank is made of 316 stainless steel, and the round bottom storage tank is convenient for liquid flow, easy to clean, and has no residue. CIP cleaning function can be selected as required.

    Jam is a condiment. It is usually made from pressed fruit, sugar, and sometimes pectin. Most jams are cooked. After making, jam is normally put into an airtight jar. Usually a jam contains as much sugar as it contains fruit. The two parts are then cooked together to form a gel.Jam refers to a product made of whole fruit cut into pieces or crushed, then heated with water and sugar until it reaches “jelling” or “setting” point, achieved through the action of natural or added pectin, then sealed in containers.

    Recipes without added pectin use the natural pectin in the fruit to set. Tart apples, sour blackberries, cranberries, currants, gooseberries, Concord grapes, soft plums, and quinces work well in recipes without added pectin.

    Other fruits, such as apricots, blueberries, cherries, peaches, pineapple, raspberries, rhubarb, and strawberries are low in pectin.     Empty bottles are staged on the main drive conveyor prior to entering the pumps mustard oil filler. Bottles enter the filler and are counted by optical sensors to ensure the correct numbers of bottles are in position. Once in place, bottles are locked in position by the pneumatically operated bottle clamping mechanism. This ensures bottles are located correctly under each filling head to minimize under or over-fills. The filling process begins as a series of stainless steel valves descend into the bottles for fast, accurate and consistent filling. After target volume is achieved, the out-gate cylinder withdraws itself from its position and allows the filled bottles to go further on the conveyor for the sealing operations.
